LAST Week in Room 33! May 22-26

I really cannot believe we have made it to the last week of 5th grade! I am so happy that I had the opportunity to student teach and long-term sub with this awesome group of kiddos! We have a lot of fun end-of-year things happening this week in addition to completing our countdown to 6th grade with a fun surprise each day.

Here is a quick glimpse of our last week together:

Monday- Monday is hat day! The fifth-grade strings will have rehearsal for their concert. Students will begin writing their letters of advice to Mrs. Schaefer's future fifth graders.

Tuesday- Tuesday is Superhero Day! This event is being organized by all of the 5th grade classes across the district to help raise funds for Officer Crosby for a wheelchair accessible home. Bring a $1 and you get to dress like a superhero. We will also be having our read-a-thon from 1:30-2:30.

Wednesday- 5th Grade Party at Epic 6!

ThursdayWe will have our final Home Run Club of the year! We will also have our final ALEKS Pie Party for those who met their ALEKS goals. We are hoping to spend time cleaning out our cubbies.

Friday- Last day of school and half day! There will be NO lunch served.

We had such a great time on Fun Day last Friday! Here are some highlights...
