Writing Celebration with our Buddies!

Native American Research

Native american overview from Nicole Schaefer

Tips on Note-Taking
  • Read a section of text, pause to think about what is important, and then write your notes.
  • Consider the main ideas and supporting details as you read. A structure like boxes and bullets can help you organize your notes.
  • Instead of copying from the text, put the information in your own words. (If this is hard, don't look at the original text when recording notes.)
  • Keep track of your source so you can return later to confirm or get more information.

Publish writing

Yesterday we started to publish our narratives! Today some of us printed our stories and may be done. And the other half are still working and are will be done tomorrow. The narratives are due THURSDAY! Have a nice evening.

* A note from Mrs. Schaefer- We are using google drive to publish! Every student has a google account and is able to access their google drive from ANY computer/device with Internet access! Their account is 21firstlast@lindberghschools.ws (first name and last name). Their password is a 10 digit code that they have written in their planners. This also means students have access to gmail- they can email me with questions! :)

Here are some pictures from our anemometer investigation today!
