This Week in Room 33! Jan. 22-25

What to expect this week in 5th grade:

Math- We are beginning our study on measurement! Our review assignment #3 is due Friday. 

Social Studies- Our African American project will be introduced tomorrow (Tuesday) and worked on in class the rest of the week. It will be due Wed., Jan. 30th. 

Reading- Our strategy focus this week is determining importance by finding the main idea.  The cold read is due Friday. 

Writing- We will continue to explore nonfiction texts and gather ideas for our own nonfiction writing.
